Smulders Projects recently awarded the contract for the electrical installation of the Transition Pieces for the EOWDC also known as Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm to Croonwolter&dros.
The Gemini Offshore Wind Park in the Netherlands' North Sea has been officially opened. The 150 wind turbines have all been installed on a mono-pile by means of a, so-called, transition piece. For each transition piece Croonwolter&dros supplied the electrical design and installation and the supply of the temporary nav-aids.
Hollandia Offshore and Croonwolter&dros will from now on be offering operators of off-shore wind farms an ‘all-in’ package. As a collaborative partnership with plenty experience they can provide specialised steelwork and the appropriate installation technology. In so doing, they respond to the market demand for an all-in service. ‘Winner takes all’: the idea that the strongest partnerships get the orders. Thanks to their financial strength, know-how and experience Hollandia and Croonwolter&dros have forged one of the strongest partnerships in the marketplace.
The Seven CRUZEIRO is the eighth ship that the combination Croonwolter&dros and Bakker Sliedrecht (CCB) successfully commissioned.
GBBS, the security specialist and part of Croonwolter&dros, has entered into a collaboration with ENSURA in the field of biometrical access control. On June 1st 2016 Croonwolter&dros and Hollandia Offshore B.V. signed the contract for the design, procurement and installation of the utility systems for the Kriegers Flak substations.
So as to respond better to the developments in the market and in technology, Croon and Wolter & Dros are going to merge. Both companies are part of TBI. Croon and Wolter & Dros have recently been busy making appropriate preparations for the merger.
